The Snitch is a single device multiplayer game of detection and deception.
-How to Play-
At the beginning of the game, players are assigned to a team at random and are either loyal to the mob, or working against them while undercover for the Police.
The game is broken up into multiple phases. During setup, players can customize how many rounds (or days). Players can do two actions each day; one in the morning, and one in the evening. Once all of the days have passed, the Mob need to vote on who they think is the Snitch.
During play, the Mob are tasked with finding out who the identity of the Snitch (or Snitches with 5+ players) by tailing other players or interrogating them during discussion phases. At the same time, their Boss has tasked them with hiding his stashes before time is up. This enables an optional score based aspect to the game, as players can raid each other and add stolen stashes to their own in the hopes of a bigger pay day.
Snitches are tasked with passing as much stash over to the police as possible, informing them of locations where stashes are likely to be hidden by other players. Be warned, however, as if another player is tailing you while youre informing the Police, youd better have your poker face ready, along with a story to push the suspicion their way instead.
With a higher number of players there can be up to 3 Snitches working against the Mob. Each Snitch knows the identity of other Snitches, and can even be aware of their activities. Its imperative that Snitches work as a team to dissuade any suspicious. If even one of you are caught, your entire team will lose.
At the end of each day, if informed, the Police will raid and shut down a location, slowly reducing the number of hiding places available.
Will you work as a team to find the Snitch among you, or will greed get the better of you?
